She is survived by: her children, Darc (Kate), Brian (Lyn), Des and Rhonda (Verlyn Ramse) of Sioux Falls, SD.; and her grandchildren, Ben Hilgenberg, Annie Simonett (Hilgenberg), Tyson Hilgenberg, Drew Hilgenberg, Jay Saxton and Carrie Dorhout (Saxton).

Memorials accepted in the name of Ilo Hilgenberg to The Avera Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD in lieu of flowers.
