It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jared Hansen (Mitchell, South Dakota), who passed away on April 3, 2018, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Oliver Hansen and Lillian Hansen; and his aunt Leatta "Lee" Synhorst. He is survived by: his wife Carey Hansen; his children, Devin and Ashlynn of Rapid City; his parents, Varland Hansen of Mitchell, SD and Lindale Hansen of Mitchell, SD; his brother Dana Hansen; his nieces, Sheridan Hansen of Mt, Brooklyn Hansen of Mt and Lauryn Hansen of Mt; his parents-in-law, Richard Trapp of Rapid City and Justine Trapp of Rapid City; his brother-in-law Todd Trapp (Heather); his nephews, Isaac Vallem and Brady Trapp; and his niece Stella Trapp of Craig, CO. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to family to assist with college funds for Devin and Ashlynn, as well as Inheritance of Hope.
