He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Gilbert Guericke (Carol) of Las Vegas, NV, Eldon Guericke, Sioux Falls and Roland Preszler; his mothers, Theresia Winter and Alice Guericke; and his stepmother-in-law Justina Guericke.
He is survived by: his wife Lena; his daughters, Nancy Long (Joe) of Ethan, SD, Connie Miller (Mike), Jody Vojta (Pat) and Julie Zempel (Brent); his grandchildren, Corey Long (Erin) of Rosemount, MN, Amanda Long-Stanley (Sharlyse), Colin Miller, Ross Miller, Sara Mora (Marco), Aubrey Miller, Gabe Zempel, Austin Vojta, Emily Zempel, Madison Vojta and Zack Zempel; his great grandchildren, Sami Stanley, Alyssa Long, Kayla Long, Asher Stanley and Bray Miller; his siblings, LaVerna Koth of Parkston, SD, Kathleen Pedersen (LeRoy) and Roland Winter (LaValle) of Parkston, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Holzwarth of Freeman, SD and Arlene Guericke.
