He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his brother Ron Jacobs; and his siblings-in-law, Marcia Jacobs, Donna Messer, Shirley Bruseth, Bud Larson, Don Borman, Eldon Juntunen, Bob Messer, Cliff Burns and Bob Bruseth.
He is survived by: his wife Connie of Mitchell; his children, Dale Jacobs (Sue) of Sioux Falls, Ronda Vetch (John) of Mitchell, Terry Jacobs (Anne) of Yankton, Tammy Beintema (Bill) of Sioux Falls and Mike Jacobs (Hope) of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Howard (Vivian), Joyce Larson of Mitchell, Bernice Borman of Stickney and Joan Juntunen of Plankinton; his sister-in-law Lonnie Burns of Mitchell; and also Spearfish. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Mitchell Heart and Sole Cancer Walk and Run. ,.
