Violet MacKey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet MacKey (Mitchell, South Dakota), who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Cross and Helen Cross (Byrd); her husband Dick Mackey; her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Bonnie; her grandchildren, Steve and Claire; her siblings, Eva Brewer, Jean Moody, Frank and Bob Cross; and her siblings-in-law, Mona Cross, Delores Cross, Lyle Brewer, Ralph Moody and Pete Mackey.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda, Kathy Schroeder (Garrett), Judy Gaston (Steve), Wade, West (Carol), Jodi Campbell, Beau and Jeremy; her daughter-in-law Judy Mackey; and her siblings, Bev Mikkelson (Kenny), Carol Royston (Mike) and Russell Cross (Judy). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
