He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Utter and Christine Utter (Moser); his siblings, Hugh (Mary), Vernon (Lois), Robert "Bob" (Mary), Lynn "Luke" (Lela), David (Alyce), Miles, Doris "Dori" and Madeline "Megs"; his brothers-in-law, Hank Disrud and George Mortenson; and his siblings' children, Corky Utter, Allen Utter, Corey Utter, Kevin Utter, Mervin Hedlin and Gail O'Donnell.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Deloris Utter. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family members and friends.
