He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Madden (Lorenzen) and Mike Madden; his parents-in-law, Alber and Luella Moos; and his sisters, Susan Frieh and Shirley Madden.
He is survived by: his wife Goldie Moos; his children, Jerry Madden (April) of Herreid, SD, Terry Madden (Tori) of Mound City, SD and Susan Brandner (Vernon) of Herreid, SD; his brothers, John Madden (Jan) of Rock Rapids and Tim Madden of Avon, SD; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Frieh of New York, Tyrone Moos (Alvera) of Phillip, SD, Myron Moos of Selby, SD, Myra Hahne (Tom) of Selby, SD and Wanda (Roger) of Selby. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
