With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jodi Rae Madsen of New Underwood, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on December 25, 2022 at the age of 31. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandfathers, David Bale and Bill Phillips; and her great-grandparents, Wayne and Dorothy Reed. She is survived by : her parents, Lee Phillips and Tami Phillips (Bale) of Owanka, SD; her sons, Allen Lee Madsen and Thomas Tyler Madsen; her husband Nate; her grandmother Carol Phillips of Owanka, SD; her brother Tyler Phillips (Shasta); her nieces and nephews, Harper and Tristin of New Underwood, SD; her sister Jacie Welter (Skyler); and her nieces and nephews, Brody, Aubree and Ralie of Faith, SD. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial has been established at First Interstate Bank of New Underwood to help support Allen and Tommy's future.
