He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake G. Dell, Sr. and Anna Dell (Heidrich); his siblings, Joe Dell and Elizabeth Morrow; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Hurd Dell and Arty Bach.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ray (Judy) of Nisland, SD, Ron (Colleen) of Plattsmouth, NE, Don (Mariana) of Houston, TX, Dave (Jill) of Spearfish, SD, Rob (Lisa) of Gilbert, AZ, Mary Fay (Mike) and Carol Bach of Belle Fourche, SD; his uncle Harry Heidrich (Jessie) of Rapid City, SD; and his aunt Jean Kryzsko of Miles City, MT.. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Newell VFW.
