He was predeceased by : his parents, George Pester and Margaret Pester; his brother James Intermill; his wife Diane; his sister Marie; his cousins, Merle, Nadine, Silos and Evelyn Pester; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon, Roy, James Folsland and Gloria.

He is survived by : his children, Chuck and Kathie; his grandchildren, Shane, Sarah, Luke, Ethan and Noah; and his brothers, Marcie Folsland and Gary (Deanna Intermill).
