Maxine Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2021, at the age of 95, Maxine Smith of Owanka, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tittle Grocery and Maxine; her husband Thomas Alfred Smith; and her sisters, Margorie Willuweit, Helen Rittberger and Dorothy Burch.
She is survived by: her siblings, Frances Poste of Wall and John "Jack" Guethlein of North Platte, NE; her children, James B. Smith (Myrna) of Owanka, Leslie Brown (Troy) of Harrold and Nancy Geary (Doug) of Rapid City; and her grandchildren, Andrew Smith, David Smith (Angela), Gary Smith (Joanna), Melanie Morrow (Scott), Boe Brown (Misti), Brittany Gartner (Drew), Greg Geary (Kortney), Luke Geary (Rebecca) and Arissa Cuny (Casey). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
