With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Degen of Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away on August 20, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Heisinger and Lucille Heisinger (Springer); her husband Herbert "Hub" Degen; and her brother Robert Heisinger (Betty). She is survived by : her children, Dann Degen (Pam) of Denver, CO, Mary Jo Schaefer (Dan) of Colorado Springs, CO, Gail Weber (Tom) of Brookings, SD and Kelly Degen (Faye) of Parkston, SD; and her sisters-in-law, Marce Degen and Annabel Oberembt. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
