It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvina (Larvie) Brewer of Pine Ridge, South Dakota, born in Martin, South Dakota, who passed away on November 10, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Grace Larvie (Ruff); her husband Vincent Brewer, Sr.; her father Louis Larvie; her siblings, Douglas Larvie, Alice Snyder Larvie and Donald Larvie; her son Michael Brewer; her grandchildren, Raymond Brewer and Vinnie Brewer III; her great grandchild Lucius Valandra; her daughter-in-law Carla Brewer (Red Fish); and her nephew Louis Snyder.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Bad Heart (Tim), Frieda Brewer, Valora Brewer (Joy), Bryan Brewer Sr., Vincent Brewer Jr., Harold Brewer Sr., Jim, Alberta Miller and Gloria Goings; and her sister Gladys Thunder Hawk-Gay. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
