He is survived by: his mother Venus VIna Rodriguez (Red Star) of Pine Ridge, SD; his siblings, Alfred Catches of Pine Ridge, SD, Paul Catches, Jr. of Pine Ridge, SD, Moses Catches (Jeanette) of Pine Ridge, SD, Cassandra Catches of Poplar, MT and Heather Shooter of Rapid City, SD; his siblings' children, Angelo, Ashton, Paul III, Richard, Carlito Catches, Maliyah, MacKenzie and Gail Catches; his cousins, Juanita Kelso, Joseph Red Star, Jr. and Jenny Hill; and his uncle Murray.
