She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Winters and Leona Winters (Richard); her husband James Schaffer; her sons, Leslie Lafferty and Joseph Lafferty; and her siblings, Herman Winters, Leo Winters, Dorothy Mae Richards, Delores Schrader, Alma Winters, Bertha, Charles Winters, Willard Winters and Adeline Esther Winters.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Lafferty of Burns, OR, Ramona Lafferty of Alliance, NE, Robert Lafferty of Pine Ridge, SD and Delores Lafferty of Rapid City, SD; her siblings, Louis Winters of Pine Ridge, SD, Eugene Winters of Hisle, SD and Anita Brown of Wanblee, SD; and her great grandchild Krista Lee Kerbaugh-Patton. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
