He is survived by: his wife Merry Afraid (Reis) of Bear; his children, Christopher Reis (Brittani) of Mesa, AZ, Marietta Afraid (Shawn) of Bear, Mary Ellen Janis (Charlie) of Slim Buttes, SD, Priscilla Brewer of Rapid City, SD and Al Afraid (Sarah) of Bear; his siblings, Priscilla Bird Eagle of Rapid City, SD, Marci, Joan Afraid of Bear and Kathy Afraid of Bear; and his grandchildren, Jaxon Afraid of Bear, Wilbert Reddy, Dante Espinosa, Cody Espinosa, Madison Crow, Hayden Janis and Sapphira Janis.
