It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville Red Feather of Pine Ridge, South Dakota, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Richards, Sr. and Geneva Toby Red Feather; his grandparents, Elizabeth Velma Red Feather, Delores and Calvin Mills; his great-grandparent Julia Crazy Horse-White; and his uncles, Paul "Skunk" Daugherty and Delane No Neck.
He is survived by: his daughter Davina J. Thunder Hawk; his siblings, Margaret Red Feather, Julian Bear Runner, Daniel Bear Runner, Michael Weasel Bear, Norton Richards and Sam Richards; and his aunts, Veatrice Weasel Bear (Mike), Francyne Little Bear (Richard "Papa Bear", Sr.) and Delores Red Feather (John Means). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
