He is survived by : his wife Ida Atkinson of Plankinton, SD; his son Jerry Hoffman of Plankinton, SD; his daughter-in-law Tammy Hoffman of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Tori Grode (Travis), Isabelle, Owen, Joe Hoffman (Crystal), Vanessa and Ethan; his great grandchildren, Dreyton, Amelia, Beth Victor (Phil), Kenzie, Emersyn, Tony, Ross, Brandi Bermea (Marcus), Jace, Griffin, Braelyn, David Hoffman and Josie Hoffman; his siblings, Robert Hoffman (Kris) of Watertown, SD and Janet Vlasman of Madison, SD; his sisters-in-law, Lenora Hoffman of Plankinton, SD and Betty Hoffman of Mitchell, SD; and his close friend Lee Hammerbeck.
