We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2020, at the age of 72, Karen Josephine Stekly (Platte, South Dakota), born in Yankton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Schwarz and Lorraine Schwarz (Schiferl); her brother Donald; and her sister-in-law Esther (John F. Stekly). She is survived by : her grandchild Ashley E. Stekly; her son John W. Stekly (Sara); her grandson John J. Stekly of Platte, SD; and her brothers, Bruce Schwarz (Donna) and Lawrence Schwarz of Yankton, SD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
