We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Merna Rae Picek (Pukwana, South Dakota). Family and friends can light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Ray Cook and Evelyn Cook (Morrison); her husband William Richard Picek Jr.; her children, William Picek (Donna) of Corsica, SD, Linda Mulvehill (David) of Piedmont, SD and Gerry Picek (Julie) of Bucyrus, KS; and her grandchildren, Alisha Nachtigal (Andrew), Stacy Farr (Aaron), Joshua Picek, Lisa Olson (Ryan), Samatha Duprel (Clint), Seth Mulvehill (Chrissy), Steven Mulvehill and Stephanie Mulvehill. She was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Pukwana Lutheran Church (611 Stockwell St, Pukwana, SD 57370). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the Pukwana Free Lutheran Church, the American Legion in Pukwana, SD or Peaceful Pines Assisted Living in Rapid City.
