He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schlimgen and Christine Schlimgen (Faust); his wife Iris; his son Michael; his brother Jerry; and his son-in-law John Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Bell, Rick Schlimgen (Patty) and Robb Schlimgen (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Michael Bell (Kristina), Christopher Bell, Tiffany Bell Rhodes (Adam), Samantha Johnson (Brett), Stephanie Alexander (Justin), Eric Schlimgen and Matthew Schlimgen.
