He was predeceased by: his son David Alan Cox; his son-in-law Donald Zoller; and his grandson Christopher Zoller. He is survived by: his wife Frances Ann; his children, Stephen William Cox (Kate Gordon), Cyann Zoller and Francha Barker (Todd); his grandchildren, Katherine Standish, Jonathan Barker, Joseph Zoller and Anne Barker; and also Terry Haute. He is also survived by young boy, he composed the following poem which his mother.
