He is survived by: his wife Nancy of Rapid City; his children, Corey Hurtig (Jordin) of Rapid City, Christie Hurtig of Rapid City and Caitlyn Nissen (Andrew) of Rapid City; his grandchildren, Rylee, Ethan, Rheanna and Roland; his stepfather Darrel Oliver of West Point, NE.; and his siblings, Steven Oliver of Cleveland, TX, Michael Oliver, Linda Plett, Tina Smith, Harrison and Terry Oliver.
A memorial has been established in his honor.
