He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave F. Jacob and Catherine Jacob (Renner); and his sister Elizabeth Jacob. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Torrey (Schoenfield); his children, Paula Shimazu of Seattle, Washington, Gregory, Cameron (Linda) of Athens, Georgia, Teri Johnson (Marty) of Brookings, SD and Mike Robinson (Heather) of Boise, Idaho.; his grandchildren, Cody Shimazu, Ryan Jacob, Abigail Jacob, Taylor Johnson Alec Johnson (Spencer), Elliot Johnson Bennett (Quvondo Brown) and Naia Robinson; his great grandchildren, Logan and Adalyn Laufmann; his sister Karmel Gole (Bob) of Texas; his niece Natalie Hooper (Charles); and his nephew Robbie Gole (Kristi).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in memory of Gus Jacob to Kiwanis Children Fund.
