She was predeceased by : her parents, Dr. Arie and Corolyn Gaalswyk (Schansberg); and her brothers, Joel and John. She is survived by : her nephew Ian Thomas; her great-nephew Arie Thomas; her niece Kari Gaalswyk; and her sisters-in-law, Julie Thomas, Char Gaalswyk and Chloe Gaalswyk. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
