He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mikkelson and Martha Mikkelson (Vognild). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mikkelson of Blairsville, GA; his daughters, Lynn Andrews of Panama City, FL, Leann Loiseau of Watertown, SD, Kathryn Wolf of Blairsville, GA and Laurie Cartney of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his siblings, Gaylord Mikkelson of Brevard, NC, Arlene Johnson of Sioux Falls, SD and Dorothy Sheldon of Brevard, NC.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The family asks that memorials go to St. Judes Children's Hospital instead of flowers and gifts.
