With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Aileen Rafferty of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 54. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Aileen Rafferty to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John, Mary Shannon, Anna and Jacob Klancnik; and her parents-in-law, Carole and Tom Rafferty.
She is survived by: her parents, Carol Klancik and James Klancik; her husband Dr. Michael Rafferty; her children, Kevin Rafferty of Sturgis, Megan Jones (Nick) of Anaconda, MT, Mark Rafferty of Rapid City and Thomas Rafferty of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Jamison, Avery, Jensen and Bennett; and her sisters, Julie Harding (Pat), Peggy Powell (Brian), Amy Dyke (Craig) and Lucy Giesing. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, 24 nieces and nephews, and so many treasured friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a memorial be made to The Newman Center, Rapid City, SD.
