She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest A; her parents, Lloyd Cathey and Lila Cathey; her brother Doyle Cathey; and her nephews, Charles Lloyd Cathey and Clem Cathey.
She is survived by: her sisters, Alice and Mary; her children, Jean, Cathey Lane (David) of Raleigh, NC and Nancy Gunter (Skip) of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Justin Lane (Rachael) of Rapid City, SD, Emily Randolph (Lance) of Rapid City, SD, Andrew (Becca) and Gunter of Minnetrista, MN; and her great grandchildren, Lawson of Rapid City, SD, Lucas of Rapid City, SD, Brielle Randolph of Rapid City, SD and Kiah Lane of Rapid City, SD.
