With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daryl Gakin of Redfield, South Dakota, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on June 23, 2021 at the age of 34. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father David Heidenson. He is survived by : his mother Gloria Gakin (Keith Farmen) of Redfield; his son Bryer of Black Hills, SD; and his siblings, Tate Stroup (Victoria) of Camp Pendleton, CA and Sophia Allen (Jake Hardie) of Brookings, SD. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
