We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2021, at the age of 76, Judyth Kaye Bartels of Redfield, South Dakota, born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Martin Egan and Inez Egan (Bergquist); her former life partner Philip Carrico; her husband Orville Bartels of Piedmont, SD; her children, Robert Carrico (Paula Alexander) of Ft Pierre, SD, John Carrico (Mary) of Turton, SD and Angela Carrico (Beau Summers) of Rapid City, SD; her stepchildren, Corina Meeker (Doug) of Chester, VA and Jason Bartels (Julie) of Bemis, SD; her siblings, Jim Ericksen (Diane) of Wasilla, AK, Jackie Ziemann (Paul) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Russ and Mary; and her granddaughter Angela. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, along with brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and many friends.
