He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Boyd and Ethel Boyd (Larsen); his stepmother Hannah (Arnt Oien); and his sister Darlene (Arnold Wold). He is survived by : his wife Karon Christian; his son Joel Boyd of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Schuyler and Braden; his daughter Rochelle Noboa (Christian) of Purdys, NY; his grandchildren, Kirsten and Sienna; his sister Kaylene Bobo; and his stepsiblings, Loretta Dietz and LeRoy Larson.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials directed to the Spink County Ambulance EMS Center.
