It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce M. Nelson of Salem, South Dakota, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Kneen and Beatrice Kneen (Estabrook); her husband Clifford Nelson; her sons, Clifford Henry Jr. and Troy Douglas Frederick; and her siblings, Warren, Orie Kneen, Shirley Vinz, Eleanor Hendrix and Clarice Krueger.

She is survived by : her children, Donna Fink (Kurt) of Plankinton, SD, Bette Andreas (Tom) of New Philadelphia, OH, Barbara Salmon (Jimmy) of Vicksburg, MS, Sandy Koch (Jim) of Salem, SD, Doris Peterson (Bill Ranney) of Vermillion, SD and Mary Nelson. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
