He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Ault and Miriam Ault (Rasmussen); his grandsons, Derek and Jaydon; and his brother Dale.

He is survived by : his close friend LaVonne Campbell of Salem; his children, Christopher Ault of Luverne, MN and Heather Ault of Brandon; his granddaughter Chevelle; and his brothers, Dan Ault of Fairmont, MN and Dave Ault of Mankato, MN..
