He is survived by: his spouse Wilma Riggs; his daughter Anna Nadenicek (Jon) of Brandon, SD; his grandchildren, Jason Nadenicek of Sioux Falls, SD, Casey Scholten of Sioux Falls, SD, Sara Nadenicek of Sioux Falls, SD and Scott Sommers of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Marcella Wold (Steve) of Burnsville, MN, Margaret Kniffen (Jim) of Tyndall, SD, Georgine Suing (Hank) of Yankton, MaryJo Bauder (Edmund) of Tyndall, Rosemary Bender (LeRoy) of Scotland and Joe Varilek (Teri) of Scotland; his daughter-in-law Kim Rempfer Varilek; and his children, Drew of Yankton and Emily of Yankton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
