He is survived by: his wife Margaret Tunender; his children, Lisa Irvine (Jeff) of Sioux Falls, SD, Joan Hurley (Will) of Sioux Falls, SD and Matt Tunender (Madeline) of Marina; his grandchildren, Ryan Glanzer (Jennifer), Jillian Thomas (Rick), Trevor Hurley, Connor Hurley, Joseph Irvine and Alex Irvine; his great grandchild Calvin Glanzer; and his siblings, Darlene Duffy of Oldham, SD, Bob Tunender of Sioux Falls, SD, Jack Tunender (Mary Lou), LeRoy Tunender (Caroline) and Richard Tunender (Judy).
In lieu of flowers, Don requested a memorial donation to Sioux Falls Catholic Schools for Teachers' salaries, St. Therese Catholic Church, or Sioux Falls Rock Steady Boxing.
