She is survived by : her children, Debbie McCarty, Timothy Newsone (Tequilla), Reggie McCarty, Derek Newsone (Turkessa) and Ebony Newsone (Lonnie); and her siblings, Jerome, Jerry, Joseph, Moses, Robert, Patricia, Viola, Alberta and Elizabeth. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (901 S Minnesota Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104).
