It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Joseph Shepherd (Sisseton, South Dakota), who passed away on April 18, 2018, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Roger White Bear; his brother Edwayne Bernard; his half-brother James Bernard; his grandmother Alice White Bear; and also, Delano and Eddie.

He is survived by: his son Rain Shepherd; his mother Della Shepherd Bernard; his siblings, Harold Bernard, Delmer Bernard, Debra Bernard, Darwin Bernard and Doreen Bernard; his significant other Autumn White; and his daughter Summer White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
