She is survived by: her grandchildren, Thad Nelson, Jessica Rasmussen, Adam Nelson, Brock Nelson, Heather Mulder and Casey Gray; her former husband Jerome Nelson; her daughter Alice; her husband Jerome "Jerry" of Sisseton; her siblings, Pat Polmature of Washington, Barb Simon (Carey) of Vista, CA and Tom Smith; and her children, Terry Nelson of Piedmont, SD, Steve Nelson (Carol) of Albuquerque, NM, Mike Nelson (Carmen) of Raleigh, NC, Pat Nelson of Lennox, SD, Dan Nelson (Joan) of Zimmerman, MN, Mark Nelson (Linda) of Sisseton, SD, Kevin Nelson (Julie) of Sisseton, SD and Dawn Schmidt (Chad) of Dumont, MN. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
