He is survived by: his wife Tammy Wilson; his children, Sylvester Jr., Chuck Goodteacher, Tanya Goodteacher of Sisseton, SD and Sheila Goodteacher of Fresno, CA; his siblings, Gilbert, Robert, Mike, Joe Kohl of Sisseton, SD, Fred Kohl Jr. of Henning, MN, Philomene Johnson of Fargo, ND, Goldie Jackson, Lois Kohl, Mary Hill of Sisseton, SD and Patsy Ellingson of Watertown, SD; his nephews, Martin Goodteacher and Thurman Frenier; and his niece Mary Jo Keeble. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
