He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Donnell and Mary Donnell (DeMarrias); his spouse Sandy LaFountaine; his children, Jason Donnell and Jamie Donnell of Sisseton, SD; his grandchildren, Lataya LaFountaine, Stacey Heck and Khloe; and his siblings, Laura Jones, Ethel Schreiner, Alvina Halbert, Myrtle LaBelle, Mary Rustand, Susie Sirvass, Jearline Gronau, Arlene Nelson and Francis Donnell. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins Vernal was preceded in death by his parents.
