It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winifred Schmid of Sisseton, South Dakota, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Winifred Schmid to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michlitsch and Anna Michlitsch (Sigaty); her husbands, Mike Lichtenecker and Gene Schmid; her grandson Michael Lichtenecker; and her siblings, Alice Deutsch, Blanche Steiner, Roman, Gerald and Cornelius Michlitsch.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Lutje (Bob) of Anchorage, AK and Clyde Lichtenecker (Arlene) of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Kim Lichtenecker and Nicole Vollink (Chad); and her great grandchildren, Addie Ezra and Kyli Vermeer.
Masks and social distancing are recommended.
Memorial donations can be made in her memory to St. Peters Building Fund or Edgewood Living Center Activities Fund.
