He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Trimble (Ronald); his wife Robert Hargis; his nephew David Struening; and also Bonnie Hargis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Michelle Vilhauer (Steve), Curt Hargis, Julie Bounds (Dean) and Cynthia Nouis (Allen); his grandchildren, Heidi Richards (Keegan), Steven Vilhauer, Grant, Lauren, Hailey, Madison Hargis, Russell (Molly), Glen, David Bounds, Hannah Nouis and Gabrielle Nouis; his great grandchild Tessa Vilhauer; and also, Joy Benson (Hargis), Kira Lodge and Tony Meirose. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
