It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Jeffries (Spearfish, South Dakota), born in Deadwood, South Dakota, who passed away on April 6, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Jeffries and Lawrence H. Jeffries; and his former wife Judy Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Carolee Horstman; his children, Carl (Kamme), Jennie Anderson and Kent Jeffries (Rae Ann); his stepchildren, Ross Bancroft of Spearfish and Lisa Schmuck of Spearfish; and his grandchildren, Hadley, Dalton (Clint Jeffries), Luke (Lizzie Anderson), Jessi, Taylor (Trevor Jeffries) and Chandler (Hunter Schmuck).
