He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Patenode and Pearl Patenode; his sisters, Gladys Lou and Mary Lou; his sons, Kenneth Patenode and David Patenode; and also Florence "Flo" Patenode.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Patenode of Roseburg, OR, Carl Patenode (Diane), Patrick Patenode (Susie), Larry Patenode (Cheryl), Rose Raczykowski (Fred) of Lyle, WA and Shawna Johnson (Mike).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
