With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Vilhauer of Spearfish, South Dakota, born in Ipswich, South Dakota, who passed away on July 8, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elyard Vilhauer and Leona Vilhauer (Brandner); his former wife Jeannette Vetch; his wife Hazel Rath Mettler; his pet Abby of Spearfish, SD; his daughter Tracy Reiman (Chad); his grandchildren, Dawson and Brooks of Norfolk, NE; his son Troy Vilhauer (Heidi); his grandchildren, Rylee and Halle of Johnstown; his stepson Mike Mettler (Liza); his stepgrandchildren, Maycee and Sadie of Eureka, SD; his brother Leo Vilhauer (Ruthie) of Leola, SD; and his grandparents, August, Mary Vilhauer, Albert and Pauline Brandner.
In lieu of flowers and memorials, please come to Long Lake, SD, and celebrate Paul's life on August 1st at 4pm at the Long Lake Bar and Cafe.
