With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Joyce Riley of Sturgis, South Dakota, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Joyce Riley to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George White and Ina White (Nelson); her husband Gilbert Riley; her siblings, Henrietta Ford, Jean Bradley, Brenda Osborne, Georgia and George; her daughter Verna Vice; and her grandson Mark Kissick.

She is survived by : her children, Bill Riley (Janet) of Crossville, TN, Darla Gunderson of Brandon, SD, Vivian Carr (Guy) of Pine Haven, WY and Mike Sprague (Robin) of Tripoli, IA; and her grandchildren, Michael Verry, Kelli Freeman (Chris), Jim Ed Gunderson (Nicole), Irish Meredith (Ken), Erin Morris (Joe), Dane Carr (JaNel), Desirae Beasley (Justin), Sherri Brown (George) and Carl Holm. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
