He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolf Kolb and Amelia Kolb; his siblings, Lillian Simon (Lee), Gilbert, Raymond (Betty), Ernest, Arnold (Florence), Vernon (Darlene) and Eldred (Willeyene); and his brother-in-law Rod Kensrud.
He is survived by: his children, Roland Jay, Dale Eugene, Laura Jean and Melanie Joy Kolb; his wife Betty Kolb; his children, Roland Kolb (Joni), Dale Kolb (Tina), Laura Kolb and Melanie Goulet (Dave Iverson); his grandchildren, Roland Kolb, Jr. (Sarah), Charley Kolb, Katie Kolb, Amelia Kolb, Kellie Baker (Ted), Britta Kolb, Jacob Goulet and Eric Goulet; his sister Deanna Kensrud; and his sister-in-law Darlene Kolb. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
