He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Weiss and Olga Weiss (Wiedman); his siblings, Harold Weiss, Richard "Dick" Weiss, Erna Heinert (Walter), Ellen Totton (Robert) and Darlene Guenther (Roger); his nephews, Terry Weiss and Kenneth Kaufman; and his niece Deanna Totton Holm.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Walter Heinert; his sister Irene Kaufman of Valentine, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Weiss (Nelson) of Rapid City, Robert Totton of Murdo, SD and Roger Guenther. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
