He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Casteel and Rosanna Casteel (Fonck); his siblings, Clifford, Jerry, Kenneth and Bertha Mae Proctor; and his aunts, Carolina Brown and Ada Belle Morgan.
He is survived by: his spouse Janice Hayford; his daughter Alicia Harris (Mark); his grandchildren, Michael of Whitewood, SD, Jaxson Harris of Whitewood, SD and Janice Casteel of Whitewood, SD; his son Chris Casteel (Tamsin); his grandson Luke of Texas; and his nephew Jerry Casteel, Jr. of Bullhead, AZ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
