He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Meisner and Ella Meisner (Loesch); his sisters, Lila Bachman (Leonard), Beverly Vandervorste (Dennis) and Barbara Burke; his stepbrother Betty Zandstra; and his great-nephew Roger Burke.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Gehringer (Dave), Jim Meisner (Renae), Linda Syman (Doug) and David Meisner (Rebecca); and his brother-in-law Ken Zandstra (Delores). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
